Sick, sick and more sick

The 25 days of sickness...

12-02-11: Picked Ashleigh up from school and the little peanut had a fever. We cancelled our plans that evening and family photos the next day.
12-03-11: Ashleigh was a runny mess all day.
12-05-11: (the real fun begins...) I called Rob at the end of the day and asked if he wanted me to pick up a pizza on my way home from work. He had just purchased our Christmas tree and it was our tradition to decorate the house/tree/watch a Christmas movie over pizza. Paid $15 for a large yummy pizza and was excited to get home.
6:00PM Rob complains that he isn't feel well. He runs upstairs and begins to get very sick....  From 6:00PM-9:00PM I'm trying to juggle bedtime routine for AP, take care of Rob who hasn't left the bathroom all night and two doggies. By 9:00PM he is in bed and is violently shaking and we suspect food poisoning. Around 9:30PM my stomach begins to feel a bit queasy...I suspected it was from "witnessing and hearing" my poor husband get sick. 10PM-4AM...I became violently ill as well.
12-06-11: Rob and I both call out of work. Rob feels the best out of the two of us and takes on the leading role of care provider for AP. The most I moved was from our bedroom to the couch and back and forth all day.
12-07-11: Rob heads back to work and I use another sick day. In desperate need of an extra hand- I made an emergency call to my Mommy. She came out and helped watched AP for me. I am starting to feel a bit better.
12-08-11: I wake Rob up at 4AM and told him he needs to take AP to school, I'm not leaving the bed. Around 9AM, I try to build up enough strength to go to work (I have a huge work event on Saturday). I arrive to work at 10:30AM. By 11:30AM, I am on my way home again. #FAIL. I feel sickly all night.
12-09-11: I feel much better! Sun is out! I want to live again!
12-10-11: Busted butt at my work event! By 2PM, throat feels a little sore...
12-11-11: I feel terrible again. I can hardly talk my throat hurts so bad and I feel miserable.
12-12-11: Most likely calling out sick again.

***This is from the girl who NEVER takes a sick day. I "average" 1 sick day a year... if that. Our house is a disaster from us being out of commission for so long and I would do anything to feel better again. I will never take my health for granted again!

What happens to our house when two people are sick...
