Thanksgiving 2011 Part I
Thursday, November 24 2011
3:30AM Ashleigh cries...someone is hangry (hungry + angry), Rob gets up to feed her.
3:40AM False alarm, not hungry...Rob comes back to bed
3:45AM My boobs feel like rocks and I decided to pump
3:50AM "Lets just get up now." (we originally were going to leave at 5:30AM)
4:00AM Last minute packing, showers, diaper changes, etc
4:30AM Depart York for Long Island
5:45AM Dunkin Doughnuts stop
5:50AM "Kristin, what does this light mean in your car?" "Ummmm, no clue..."
7:10AM Shaking of the car....more shaking...."I think we have a flat."
7:25AM Calling AAA- they can't help...I call the NJ Transit Authority...half hour wait
7:30AM I call my Mom (who is hours away in DC). I am freaking out.
7:35AM I am now hysterical crying to Rob... "Don't try to be a hero, get back in the car!" As cars are zipping down the NJ turnpike.
7:37AM Once I knew Rob was safe- I became worried about my two Coach diaper bags sitting on the NJ turnpike, a bit selfish you may ask...yes, but have you seen my gorgeous bags?!?
7:40AM He enters in the car. I decide to take a few photos (knowing this would be a perfect blog post/story) after this is all done.
7:50AM We were rescued by the NJ Transit Authority- new tire- $350 later...back on the road
Stay tuned for Part II...a much happier blog!

Holiday Season 2011
My new motto/outlook on life...no stress, no worries!
I need to turn my Type A personality down a few notches and just enjoy life. Plus, look at this adorable face, how can I be stressed?!?!
